This page shows persistent and pervasive violence that happened in schools and on school buses throughout the Boston school system in 2021-2022.    The magnitude of the problem is being ignored.  Look at these stories and be informed about the safety crisis in Boston schools.

In early 2022, parents and grandparents called on Mayor Wu and school

leadership to keep guns out of schools after eight different incidents.   

A new school safety plan was needed that would address these serious

issues and yet no new specific plan was presented and the result was

six more incidents of guns in school before the end of the school year.
